US Sales Tax Rate Updates for December 2024

The following state, county, municipal and district taxes are set to change effective December 1, 2024.

The rate changes below will be automatically reflected in the Fonoa tax engine.

Alaska

Starting December 1, 2024, the city of White Mountain increased its general remote sales tax rate from 1% to 3%. Alaska Remote Seller Sales Tax Commission published this rate change here.

Minnessota

0.5% Lanesboro sales and use tax ends on December 31, 2024 within the city of Lanesboro. The general rate sales and use tax remains at 6.875% plus any other local sales taxes that apply in Lanesboro. Please find the notice here.
